About the Founder
Sheryl is a mom of three energetic and loving boys. Her eldest son, Miguel, is on the autism spectrum and is the inspiration for the establishment of Treston-BrightSide Academy.
She is an educator at the °ÄÃÅ2023È«ÄêÕý°æÃâ·Ñ×ÊÁÏ where she emphasizes the importance of the values of Transformation, Respect, Excellence, Self-Leadership, Teamwork, Optimism, and Nurture in building a mentoring and caring community. She is also involved in rural development and sustainable energy solutions in underserved communities through MASE Holdings, Inc., a diversified social enterprise group that she co-founded with her husband.
A Happiness, Inclusion, and Sustainability advocate, Sheryl is a social entrepreneur and motivational leader whose life mission is to create positive transformation one person at a time.

The Treston-BrightSide Academy (Treston-BSA) is the development center of °ÄÃÅ2023È«ÄêÕý°æÃâ·Ñ×ÊÁÏ for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum.
We are partnered with Our Lady of Pilar Montessori Center (kinder to grade 10), and °ÄÃÅ2023È«ÄêÕý°æÃâ·Ñ×ÊÁÏ (senior high school to college) for the delivery of academic courses, happiness tracks, and vocational programs in conjunction with the center’s special education programs and services.
Our partner clinic, Center for IDEAS, provides occupational and speech & language therapy for students while Treston Health Club is home to licensed physical therapists and certified adaptive special needs coaches who conduct fun activities for physical fitness.
At Treston-BrightSide Academy, we understand the importance of nurturing happy children. We believe that a happy child can bring happiness everywhere he goes – to his family, school, and community – and we are committed to working with both parents and students to create a bright future for them.

BrightSide Academy combines gentle teaching with a behavioral approach to help learners reach their full potential while keeping in mind that kindness above all matters for the teacher and the student to effectively achieve the learning goals.
With a bright future as our ultimate goal for each child, we will do whatever works best for the learner to grow and succeed in his area of interest, no matter how long it takes and for as long as we have the full support of the learner’s family in this exciting and fulfilling journey.

Admission at BrightSide Academy is completed in three easy steps. Admissions now open for SY 2023-2024.
All inquiry and center tours are by appointment only. Information on admission, program offerings and fees are available for applicants who have secured a slot for appointment at the Admissions Office.

Limited Admission
To ensure that our students enjoy the desired learning experience with us, admission in BrightSide Academy will be limited to a certain number of students every year and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
With this, we encourage applicants to submit the accomplished admission documents and requirements as soon as possible to give enough time for assessments and to move forward with the admission process.
